Walter Naegle, Bayard Rustins surviving partner.

Walter Nagel worked in non-profit educational and arts organizations for 4 decades; lived and worked with partner veteran civil/human rights activist Bayard Rustin during the last decade of Bayard’s life. As his executor, Walter has raised awareness of Rustin’s achievements through numerous projects, including the award-winning documentary film Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin; serves on the Executive Com. of the NY/Metro American Friends Service Committee.
